All-Natural Microwave Popcorn

If you are looking to an all-natural option for family movie night, this is your next best fix to Netflix.

Made with three ingredients in under three minutes, I know you will never go back after trying this approach. It is easy, cost-effective, all-natural, and tastes awesome.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup organic popcorn kernels

1 teaspoon coconut oil

salt, to taste

Toppings: melted coconut oil or butter, nutritional yeast, salt

Instructions:

1. In a small brown paper bag, put kernels in first. Add oil, then sprinkle with salt. Fold paper bag 3 times to seal.

2. Put bag in microwave and cook for 2.5 to 3 minutes. Cooking times may vary depending on microwave, so stop when kernels pop ~2 seconds apart. Let bag rest for 30 seconds to ensure all kernels have popped. Carefully remove bag from microwave as it may be hot and oil may be on the sides.

3. Carefully open bag, being cautious of steam. Top with additional melted coconut oil or butter, then sprinkle with nutritional yeast and salt. Enjoy!

Makes: ~8 cups popped
